Gen X Sibling Card, 80s Music Nostalgia Card, Brother Sister Card, Our First Dancefloor, Retro Family Card, Music Lover Gift

OUR FIRST DANCEFLOOR

Before the clubs, there was Mum’s front room.
And we learnt every word from the record sleeve.

Before Spotify, YouTube and lyrics on demand, there was the record player, a favourite vinyl and the lyrics printed on the sleeve. 🎶

This nostalgic card celebrates those brilliant childhood music memories dancing around Mum’s front room, singing into whatever could pass for a microphone and arguing over who got to hold the record sleeve so everyone could get the words right.

Inspired by a real Studio Gen family memory of three siblings, one record and a front room that became our very first dancefloor. ❤️

Perfect for brothers, sisters and fellow Gen Xers who grew up discovering music together and still remember when putting a record on was an event.

Perfect for:

• Brothers and sisters
• Gen X birthdays
• 80s music lovers
• Music-mad families
• Childhood friends
• Retro and vinyl lovers
• Anyone who remembers learning every word from the record sleeve

ABOUT OUR ARTWORK

Every Studio Gen design begins with our own ideas, memories, humour and creative direction. We use a combination of digital design techniques and AI-assisted image generation as part of our creative process, before developing, editing and finishing each piece into the final Studio Gen artwork.

This particular design was inspired by a real family memory three siblings, a big stacked stereo, Mum’s front room and all of us singing along while reading the lyrics from the record sleeve.

Studio Gen UK — cards inspired by the memories, music and madness we grew up with.
