Welcome to Studio Gen UK. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
General Information
Studio Gen UK and The Dog Files are trading names of Hosted Clouds, the business responsible for operating this website.
Studio Gen UK is an independent mother-and-daughter brand based in East Sussex, creating greeting cards, prints and lifestyle products inspired by music, memories and modern nostalgia.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply to orders placed after the updated terms take effect. Changes will not affect the terms agreed when an existing order was placed or your statutory consumer rights.
Products & Descriptions
We aim to ensure all product descriptions, images and prices are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and printing processes.
As many of our products are made to order or personalised, slight variations may occur.
Personalised Orders
Customers are responsible for checking that all names, dates, spelling, photographs and other personalisation details supplied when ordering are accurate.
We cannot accept responsibility for errors in personalisation details supplied by the customer once production has begun. However, if an error is made by Studio Gen UK or a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, we will work to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Products made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the standard 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in GBP (£).
Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers. We do not store or have access to your payment details.
Shipping & Delivery
We aim to process and dispatch orders within the timeframes stated on our website. Delivery dates are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed due to postal disruption, busy periods or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them, in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
If your order is lost, damaged in transit or does not arrive, please contact us at gale@studiogenuk.co.uk so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that are unforeseeable or unrelated to a breach of our obligations.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
